Coastal and Beaches
After a leisurely breakfast in Arusha we head out around 8:00 a.m. to Tarangire where your adventure awaits you. Our agenda today is devoted to an action-packed game drive.
Tarangire National Park is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania and it is home of the highest population of elephants, wildebeest, pride of lions, and over 400 species of birds. Added to this you will see diverse landscape and vegetation – Baobab trees, dense bush and high grasses. We will also see the spectacular Tarangire River that crosses through the park and is the only source of water during the dry season for the animals that reside there. During the dry season you will see thousands of animals that have migrated to the park from Manyara National Park.
There will be lots of time for taking pictures.
We’ll have a relaxing picnic lunch in the great outdoors and then continue our game drive until the African sun begins to set.
We return to Arusha around 5:00 p.m.
